Good morning and happy Tuesday, Insiders!

New year, new you... Out with the old and in with the new. New gym membership? Yes. New resolutions? Yes. Dry January? Maybe.

This week’s lineup includes jazz jams, salsa nights, puppy yoga (yes, it’s real), and—wait for it—a brand new section featuring local jobs. Indy’s buzzing, and you’re about to be in the know. Let’s get into it.

Also.. do we think there’s another Stranger Things episode coming or is my social media feed leading me on?

Calvin Fletcher’s Coffee Company is a locally owned roaster and café that is doing things the right way — ethically sourced beans, in-house roasting, and a calm space that actually encourages sitting down instead of grabbing and sprinting. While the weather currently may make you want to stay inside in sweatpants, they’ve got a rotating seasonal drink menu and enough lounge space to make it worth the trip.

If you’re a fan of Cunningham Restaurant Group, here’s a special of theirs that goes under the radar. Shin Dig on the north side is a spot that’s part restaurant, part community playground—designed for pop-ups, local chef residencies, and creative events. They’ve got everything from wings, pizza, sweet treats, and even a drive through (rare these days).. Check it out here.

Meet Boris, a 15-year-old terrier mix who is as gentle as they come, Darlene, a 9-year-old shorthair car who’s a sweet senior lady, and Rocket, a 5-year-old shorthair cat who will purr next to you until you fall asleep. 🐾
