Meet the Best Alcohol Replacement of the Season
As the nights get colder and holiday gatherings fill the calendar, I’ve been craving a new kind of ritual—something warm, social, and feel-good, without the fogginess that often follows a drink. And this season, I found it.
Meet Vesper, Pique’s brand-new, non-alcoholic adaptogenic aperitif—and truly one of the most exciting launches they’ve ever released. Crafted with rare botanicals and science-backed ingredients, it delivers everything I love about a drink: the unwind, the mood lift, the sense of connection… just without the alcohol.
Each sip brings a soft drop in the shoulders, a gentle lift in spirit, and a clear, grounded presence. Sparkling, tart, and herbaceous, Vesper feels luxurious and intentionally crafted—perfect for holiday parties, cozy nights in, and an elevated start to Dry January.
Because it’s new (and already going viral), it will sell out fast.

Good morning, Insiders ☕
Christmas is almost here and the drama is unfolding. Philip Rivers looked somewhat decent in his first start, Anthony Richardson is cleared to return, Mendoza is officially HeisMendoza, and Diego Pavia is having none of it. Next thing we know an Indiana-based telenovela will hit Netflix. Either way, we’ve got a new steakhouse to check out, cats meeting Santa, and plenty of things happening around Indy to keep you busy this week.

Nine Lives Cat Café is getting extra festive with pet pictures with Santa, because nothing will make your holiday card stand out more than a cat on Santa’s lap. Swing by next Tuesday to get your photos, grab a coffee, and potentially leave a with a new member of your family—exactly how the holidays should feel.

Dean’s Steak & Seafood has officially landed in downtown Indy in the great big blue hotel we call the JW Marriott. Inside they’ve got the classic dim lighting, dark red ambiance and a menu that won’t disappoint. From my recent visit I’d recommend two things: the tableside martini (caviar stuffed olives..) and the Dean’s style filet. Check it out and let us know what you think.. just don’t look at the bill 🙄 .
