Good morning, Insiders! 🍂

Fall is officially in full swing, and Indy’s showing off a little bit. Between new restaurant openings, local music spots getting fresh life, and a weekend lineup packed with events, Indy is hitting it’s stride. Whether you’re looking to grab a strong margarita at the new Piedra or catch a show at Broad Ripple’s newest venue, The 808, there’s plenty to keep your calendar full—and your group chat active.

Let’s dive in, and as always - Go Horse!

The folks behind Indy CD & Vinyl are opening The 808 next door—a new all-ages venue that’s part music hall, part community space. They built it as a place for live shows, open mics, and local events without the bar crowd, keeping the focus on music and connection. It officially opens October 18-19, and it already feels like a win for Broad Ripple’s live-music scene.

Piedra just opened in the Bottleworks District, taking over part of the old Coca-Cola bottling plant with a sleek, Art Deco-meets-modern feel. It’s from the team behind Verde Flavors of Mexico, and the focus is on grilled meats, seafood, and cocktails that look like they belong in a museum. It’s not trying too hard to be “fancy”—just a well-done spot that feels new for Indy without feeling out of place.

Meet Asha, a 3-month-old mixed breed who’s a ball of energy, Alex, a 5-month-old cat who’s looking for her own scratch post, and Gadget, a 6-year-old shorthair cat who’s happier than he looks (we promise).

Check out this 3 bed, 2 bath home on Keystone Ave. We’re looking at a modern updated kitchen, large open living room windows with sky lights along the ceiling, and fenced in backyard to host all your summer activities. Find out more here.
