Good morning Indy and happy National Great American Pot Pie Day!
Indy is buzzing on all fronts. The Colts are rolling, the Fever are heating up in the playoffs (without Caitlin Clark), and the Fall foliage is slowing showing signs of life. This week we’ve got two great spots to check out, our classic trivia, adoptable best friends, and as always our weekly happenings. Let’s dive in →
P.S. Daniel Jones - if you’re listening, keep it up.

If you’re looking for a day trip getaway right here in Indy, then thee RH Indianapolis at the Historic DeHaan Estate is a hidden gem. They’ve got the classic RH displays and store but also include beautiful landscapes surrounding the estate. The best part? The highly decorated restaurant right in the middle of the store. It’s a splash of opulence right in the 317, and the kind of spot you’ll want to show off when friends visit from out of town.

We’ve got back-to-back new spotlights for you! Carmel just scored a new flavor hub with Matador on Main, a Spanish tapas spot that replaced Tre on Main Street. They’ve got everything from croquettes to empanadas to paella big enough to share — all alongside sangria flights and a variety of cocktails. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something to mix up your date nights.

What nickname is going viral for Colts' quarterback Daniel Jones?
