Good morning, Insiders!

September’s here, which means Indy is slowly swapping out it’s summer festivals for tailgates and hoodies. We’ve got the best of both worlds this week—beer garden concerts at Rathskeller while it’s still warm out, a new cocktail spot on Mass Ave, and a calendar packed with festivals, comedy, and the Colts finally back on the field.

Let’s get it started.

If it’s summer in Indy, chances are the Biergarten at The Rathskeller is packed. The outdoor setup at the historic Athenaeum is all about long tables, big steins, and live music under the lights.

The lineup changes often—local rock, cover bands, even some indie acts—but it’s always loud, fun, and easy to make a night of with Mass Ave just steps away. Find out what’s happening tonight here.

Mass Ave’s got a new late-night hangout with Dusk Lounge, a cocktail bar built for dim lights and long nights. The space is modern but cozy, with just enough polish to feel like a step up from your usual bar run.

The menu leans creative but approachable—seasonal cocktails alongside reliable classics—and it’s the kind of spot that works whether you’re starting the night or winding it down. Find out more here.

Meet Bailey, a 4-year-old staffordshire/terrier mix who’s got a professional headshot, Confetti, a 2-year-old shorthair cat with an adorable spot on her nose, and Carolina, a 3-month-old shorthair cat who’s a ball of energy and loves to be cuddled 🐾 .

If you like greenery and a house full of colors, this 3 bed 3 bath home in Irvington is the perfect fit. We’re talking plants galore that guard a beautiful front porch, a large wooden dining table for all your dinner parties, and a fish tank that would make Nemo & Dory jealous. Plus, there’s enough pictures and antiques scattered throughout to leave you with endless dinner stories.

Fall doesn’t officially start for a few weeks, but we’ve already got all the events lined up heading into it. Lets dive in →
