Happy Tuesday, Insiders!

We’ve got a little bit of everything lined up this week—live bands with a side of Hermanaki wings at Ale Emporium, pregame rituals at Touchdown Town, and a pack of adoptable pets who are way more reliable roommates than most humans. Toss in a week stacked with concerts, comedy shows, festivals, and trivia nights, and you’ve got yourself the full Indy starter pack for late August.

Let’s dive in.

Ale Emporium isn’t just where you go for Hermanaki wings and a bucket of beer—it’s also where you can catch a surprisingly solid lineup of live bands. One minute it feels like your go-to sports bar, the next it’s turned into a mini concert venue with a dance floor that definitely wasn’t in the blueprints.

The best part? You can crush a plate of wings while the band plays your favorite throwbacks, and nobody bats an eye if you’re singing along with sauce all over your face. It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s exactly the vibe you want on a weekend night.

Football season is quickly approaching and Touchdown Town is Indy’s version of a block party—except the block happens to sit right outside Lucas Oil on game days. It’s free, full of food trucks, live music, drinks, and plenty of activities to make the pregame tailgate a memorable one.

Even if you don’t have tickets, it’s worth going just for the energy. You’ll end up high-fiving strangers, eating something fried, and you might even see some local celebrities. Just make sure you don’t burn all your energy before the game even starts—Touchdown Town is basically the team’s unofficial first quarter.

Meet Conga, a 3-year-old hound with the cutest floppy ears, Mocha, a 3-year-old shorthair cat who’s just looking for a safe home, and Scruffy, a 5-year-old shorthair white cat who loves attention and pets.

Ready to elevate your home (literally)? Check out this 2 bed, 2 bath condo that overlooks University Park. We’re talking floor-to-ceiling windows, modern architecture and appliances galore, and enough smart home features to make you feel like Tony Stark. The downside? It’s not free..

Check it out here.
